AlbertPd provides cross province support to teachers developing their skills in the Differentiated Classroom. There are many aspects to this study. The CRC has been prominent in the areas of

Differentiation in the 7-12 Math Classroom

Dr. Marian Small was the keynote speaker for the third annual High School Math Institute sponsored by Alberta Regional Professional Development Consortium (ARPDC). The webinar sessions supported junior and senior high math teachers in a Professional Learning Community focused on developing strategies to differentiate their instruction. The strategies developed are based on the work of Dr. Small and include open questions and parallel tasks. The presenting teachers will shared their own classroom experiences and offered practical approaches for those interested in adopting methods to differentiate instruction in math class.
